Opened November 15, 2024: join Tiana and Louis on a musical log-flume journey through the bayou to find the missing ingredient for a Mardi Gras party, capped by the famous 50-foot drop. The Princess and the Frog retheme of Splash Mountain, packed with new animatronics and Louisiana flavor.

How to do it right

  • At Disneyland this is on Lightning Lane Multi Pass (unlike Walt Disney World), so make it your first booking once you are in the park; touring sites also list a single rider line
  • Front row gets soaked; middle rows just get splashed. Plan accordingly with phones and shoes
  • The animatronic critter band in the finale is among Disney's best recent work, so don't spend the whole ride bracing for the drop
  • Waits drop in the evening once the temperature falls
  • Ride photo is taken on the big drop, plan your pose
