What it is

Hang-glide 40 feet in the air in front of a giant dome screen at the Grizzly Peak Airfield. Since July 2, 2026 it has been showing Soarin' Across America, a limited-time film with no announced end date (Soarin' Over California ended June 30).

How to do it right

  • Now showing Soarin' Across America (since July 2, 2026; limited time, no end date announced)
  • Ask for row B1, center top row - no dangling feet in your view and the least edge distortion
  • Watch for the scents; Soarin' films pipe in aromas to match the scenes
  • Smooth and gentle despite the height - great first "big" ride for kids

Best time to ride

  • Morning
  • With Lightning Lane Multi Pass

Photo spots

  • Grizzly Peak Airfield signage
  • Vintage airfield props

Accessibility

  • You need to transfer from a wheelchair or ECV to the ride vehicle
  • Assistive listening available
