EPCOT Food and Wine Festival Guide 2026: Booths, Dishes, Strategy & Money-Saving Tips

The 2026 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival runs August 27 through November 21, 2026. As of mid-October you're in the home stretch, with about six weeks left. If your trip lands before November 21, here's how I tell clients to do it.

How the Festival Works

There's no separate festival ticket. A regular EPCOT ticket (or a Park Hopper) gets you in, and you pay for each food and drink item as you go. The heart of the festival is the Global Marketplaces: outdoor booths spread around World Showcase and the rest of the park, each serving a few small plates and drinks tied to a country, region, or theme.

The portions are tasting size, so most people "graze" their way around instead of sitting down for a meal. Plan on several booths to make a full meal.

What Else Is Going on

• Eat to the Beat concerts at the America Gardens Theatre in World Showcase, included with park admission
• Festival Passport: a free booklet with every booth menu, plus a stamp page for each booth you visit
• Paid extras like culinary demonstrations, seminars, and special dining events, which book separately and sell out

Booth menus and the concert lineup are published on the Disney Parks Blog and in the My Disney Experience app. I always tell clients to pull up the full menu list before they go.

What to Eat

Menus change a little every year, so check this year's list before you go. A few longtime favorites tend to come back, like the cheddar cheese soup at the Canada booth, the Kalua pork slider at Hawai'i, waffles at Belgium, and lamb chops at Australia. I also like to try at least one booth that's new that year, because that's where the most interesting dishes usually show up.

New this year near Canada: La Poutinerie opened July 1, 2026 between the Canada and United Kingdom pavilions, replacing Refreshment Port. It's a permanent spot (not a festival booth), so you can get poutine year-round.

My Touring Strategy

1. Go on a weekday if you can. Friday nights and weekends get very crowded with locals.
2. Start eating late morning, when booths open, and do your rides early.
3. Pick your must-try dishes the night before and map them out so you're not backtracking.
4. Split plates. With a group of four, one order of each dish lets everyone taste more for less.
5. Skip any line that looks long. Another great booth is a few minutes away.
6. Drink water between drinks. October afternoons in Florida are still warm.

Budgeting for the Festival

Booth items add up fast. It's easy for two adults to spend $100 or more in an afternoon once you add drinks. My tip: decide on a per-person budget before you walk in, and consider loading it onto a Disney gift card so you can see what you've spent. Disney sells festival gift card wristbands during the event, which make paying at the booths quick.

If you're on the Disney Dining Plan, many festival items have historically counted as snacks. Look for the snack symbol on the booth menus.

What Comes Next at Epcot

The festival ends November 21, 2026. The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays follows from November 27 to December 30, 2026, along with the Candlelight Processional (shows at 4:45, 6:30, and 8:00 PM). Candlelight dining packages open for booking October 14, 2026. If your trip is in December, that's the festival you'll catch instead.

Prices and schedules change often; confirm current details with your travel advisor before booking.

What Things Cost

Disney doesn't publish an average, but most booth food items fall around $5 to $10 each, and alcoholic drinks and wine flights often cost more. For a solid afternoon of grazing, I tell clients to plan on roughly $40 to $70 per adult for food and drinks, more if wine or beer flights are your thing. Kids who share plates can get by for much less.

A Sample Festival Day

Here's how I'd lay out a Food & Wine day if you're not buying Lightning Lane for every ride:

Morning: Ride first. Test Track, Frozen Ever After, Remy, and Soarin' Across America are all easier before the festival crowds show up.

Late morning: Start grazing on the World Celebration and World Nature side, where crowds are lighter early.

Midday: Head into World Showcase going clockwise from Mexico, or counterclockwise from Canada if you came in through the International Gateway. Stop at La Poutinerie between Canada and the U.K. while you're there.

Afternoon: Cool off with a show or a ride. The American Adventure is indoors and air conditioned.

Evening: Catch an Eat to the Beat concert at the America Gardens Theatre, then finish with a few more booths before Luminous The Symphony of Us on World Showcase Lagoon.

Doing the Festival with Kids

Food & Wine isn't just for adults. Most booths have at least one item kids will eat, and splitting plates keeps it cheap. A few kid-friendly tips:

• Do rides in the morning while kids have energy, and save the grazing for after lunch.
• Pick up a Festival Passport for each kid and let them collect the booth stamps.
• Bring a refillable water bottle, since ice water is free at quick-service counters.
• Take a midday break at your resort pool if you're staying nearby.

How Much Time to Give It

For a first visit to Food & Wine, I like a full EPCOT day plus an evening hop back if you have Park Hopper. One day lets you ride everything and try a good spread of booths. The extra evening is where the festival really shines: the lagoon lights up, the concerts are going, and you can graze without worrying about ride times. If you only have one day, skip the second lap around World Showcase and focus on the 8 to 10 dishes you care about most.

If Your Dates Miss the Festival

Food & Wine ends November 21, 2026. Late November and December trips get the Festival of the Holidays instead, and spring trips get the Flower & Garden Festival, which typically runs from early March through early June. Each one has its own paid food booths, so the grazing strategy here still works.

Where to Stay for Food & Wine

The resorts within walking distance of EPCOT (BoardWalk Inn and Villas, Beach Club, Yacht Club, Swan, and Dolphin) are perfect for festival trips because you can go back and forth all day. The Skyliner resorts (Riviera, Caribbean Beach, Pop Century, and Art of Animation) are the next best thing. Both groups get you to the International Gateway, which is right in the middle of the World Showcase action.

Do you need a special ticket for Food & Wine? No. Regular EPCOT admission gets you in. Food and drinks are paid separately.

What's the best day to go? A weekday. Friday nights and weekends get busy with locals and annual passholders.
